As a Real Estate Professional I have come to understand the complexities of the Real Estate Transaction and how confusing it can be for first time buyers and even those experienced with the process.

I retired from Sierra Beverage Company as a District Manager and National Accounts Manager in Nov. of 2001. In December 2001 I began my Real Estate Career with Blair Realty in Merced as General Manager. We merged with Prudential California Realty in Jan. 2003, where I performed the duties of Branch Manager until joining Coldwell Banker Gonella Realty in Nov. 2006.

I’m a Mother of two adopted children. My husband and I were foster parents in Fresno for over 7 years. Our daughter came to us at the age of 15 months, & our son came to us at the age of 18 months. It was a challenge at times but well worth it. We are now the proud Grandparents of one beautiful Granddaughter that is 2.
I’ve been married to my husband Jim for over 30 years. The thing about marriage that I’ve learned is that you both have to be good listeners and very understanding at times. It’s never 50/50. At our age we are trying to travel more, now that the children are not kids anymore.
I was a stay at home mom for about 10 years. I have always done volunteer work. For the schools, boy scouts, rest homes, the local Zoo in Merced, or just for neighbors that needed help. I have always felt you need to give back to your community, to make it something everyone can be proud of.
I will always do my best to have an open line of communication with all my clients. I think you need to know what’s going on, be it Good News or Bad News. The only time I turn my phone off is when I’m on a plane. I will answer it till I go to bed every night. If my clients have a question about something I want them to call and get the answer so they can get a good night sleep.

Originally from the Central Valley, I was raised in Newark in the Bay Area. In 1998 I moved my family to Merced to continue my 24 year career in Long term Care.
When my daughter was 3 years old I took a job in a local nursing home. For the next 15 years I worked as a nursing assistant, in medical records and finally the business office.
I was offered the position of A/P – Payroll Consultant and spent the next 9 years in Long Term Care as a consultant and Corporate Trainer. The best part of my job was meeting new people and being able to provide the training they needed to be successful in their own jobs.
When I decided to make the transition to real estate, I took a temporary job at our local Gottschalks in the gift wrap area. After 6 months I was promoted to Area Manager. I enjoyed my job so much I ended up spending 3 more years managing the Men’s, Children’s, Lingerie and Junior’s departments. I not only worked with some incredible professionals, I also discovered a passion for great customer service.
